Boys Basketball Class 3 District 2 bracket play began last night!
Woodland beat Chaffee 94-49.
Saxony Lutheran beat Scott City 67-44
Woodland plays Saxony Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Valle Catholic beat Kelly 61-55. Valle plays top seed Charleston Wednesday at 6 p.m.
STE. GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve lost both their varsity and junior varsity games at Festus.
The varsity lost 69-66 on a three point buzzer shot by Festus.
Ste. Genevieve plays freshmen, junior varsity and varsity games at Perryville Thursday at 5 p.m. It will be senior night.
Ste. Genevieve has the second seed in the Class 4 District 2 Tournament.
The Drsgons will play either fourth seed Herculaneum or fifth seed Affton at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 1st.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent plays Wednesday in the District Tournament at Crystal City. The Indians have the No. 2 seed and will play either Crystal City or New Haven at 7:30 p.m. in the semifinals.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville has the sixth seed in the Class 4 District 1 Tournament.
The Pirates play third seed Notre Dame of Cape Girardeau at 7 p.m. Monday.
Girls’ Basketball
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle has the seventh seed in the Class 2 District 4 Tournament.
The Lady Warriors play second seed Crystal City tonight at 6:30.
STE. GENEVIEVE – The varsity Ste. Genevieve High School Girls fell just short in a close game with Perryville. The score was 42-38.
The junior varsity Dragons won a two-quarter contest with Perryville 17-6.
The girls have senior night Wednesday.
Ste Genevieve received the No. 3 seed in the Class 4 District 2 Basketball Tournament and will play Tuesday, February 28 at 7 p.m. vs. the sixth seed Bayless at SGHS.
Admission is $6 for each day of the tournament. Cash only.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran hosts Doniphan tonight.
The Lady Crusades have the second seed in the Class 4 District 1 tournament and will play the winner of the Feb. 28 game between third seed Fredericktown and sixth seed Kennett at 7 p.m. on March 2nd.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville has the fifth seed in the Class 4 District 1 tournament and will play fourth seed Dexter at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28.

STE. GENEVIEVE — The Valle Catholic Wrestling team takes 2nd out of 15 participating high schools at the District 1 tournament in New Madrid, Missouri scoring 152.5 points. The Valle Wrestling team is sending a school record of 8 wrestlers to participate in the state tournament this Wednesday and Thursday in Columbia, Missouri!
