She was born November 23, 1931 in Sainte Genevieve, MO
She is survived by: three daughters: Debra (Belated Ted) Coalter of Cape Girardeau, MO, Sandra (Matthew) Bosner of Sainte Genevieve, MO, and Sharon (Brian) Figge of Sainte Genevieve, MO; a son: Kenny (Terry) Drury of Bloomsdale, MO; a sister: Marcella (Tom) Vaughn of Festus, MO; a brother: Larry (Kathleen) Schmidt of Sainte Genevieve, Mo; grandchildren: Angela Figge of St. Louis, Amy (David) Kreitler of Hillsboro, Adam Figge of Ste. Genevieve, Jason (Lesley) Coalter of Cape Girardeau, Laura (Chad) Parker of Sikeston, Sara (Nathan) Lorenz of Cape Girardeau, Daniel (Lindsey) Meyer of Ste. Genevieve, Tina (Kyle) Schuessler of Cape Girardeau, Madeleine (Broc) Kreitler of St. Louis, and Clayton Drury of Bloomsdale; great-grandchildren: Gavin Parke, Kennede Parke, Kacen Figge, Cael Kreitler, Colt Parker, Cheyenne Parker, Jake Coalter, Tate Coalter, Parker Lorenz, Ella Grace Lorenz, Peyton Schuessler, and Aurora Schuessler.
Preceded in death by: husband: Carroll A. Drury; father: Lawrence Joseph Schmidt; mother: Mary Ann (Bonnarens) Schmidt; three sisters: Christine (Chalmer) Meyer, Edna (Don) Stolzer, and Helen (Marion) Politte.
A Memorial Mass for 91-year-old Anna Marie (Schmidt) Drury of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 10 a.m.
Memorials may be made to St. Agnes School in Bloomsdale, MO.
She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.
Anna Marie was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. She was a favorite resident of Parkwood, The Arbors, and later at the Care Center, with her sweet smile, singing, and appreciative demeanor. Anna Marie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, dancing, playing cards, and Bingo. She was a fantastic cook and baker and worked for many years in the Dietary Department at Riverview.
