STE. GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve City sales tax receipts are in for the month of January.
The city’s one percent sales tax brought in $74,849.13, which is up $34,730.18 from January 2022.
The other city sales taxes were also up:
The Capital Improvements and Mass Transportation taxes brought in $36,836 each.
Only one tax, the Consolidated City Use Tax was down. It brought in $14,963 which is down $4,605 from the same month last year.
The city’s sales tax revenue for January was deposited in the city’s account at Bloomsdale Bank on February 6th.
