JEFFERSON CITY – The number of new COVID-19 cases in Missouri has fallen from the previous number.
This week 3,308 new cases were reported by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
There were fewer than 10 new cases in Ste. Genevieve County. That is about 28 per 100,000 population.
There were fewer than 11 new cases in Perry County. That is about 57 per 100,000 population.
Bollinger County had fewer than 10 new cases. That is about eight per 100,000 population.
St. Francois County had 44 new cases. That is about 66 per 100,000 population.
Cape Girardeau County had 50 new cases. That is about 63 per 100,000 population.
Jefferson County had 136 new cases, compared to 195 the previous week. That is about 60 per 100,000 population.
Ste. Genevieve, St. Francois and Jefferson Counties are in the yellow or medium community level.
Perry, Bollinger and Cape Girardeau are listed as having low community levels.
