SGHS FBLA finds success at District Leadership Competition

STE GENEVIEVE — Recently, SGHS students participated in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) District Leadership Competition held on Saturday, Feb. 4.

 

The following students placed within the top five of their event:

Emily Allebach placed 1st in Database Design & Applications – (advancing to state competition)

 

Katie Ahne placed 1st in Supply Chain Management (advancing to state competition)

 

Jeremiah Kunz placed 1st in Computer Problem Solving – (advancing to state competition)

 

Trey Bloom placed 1st in Impromptu Speaking – (advancing to state competition)

 

Chloe Staffen placed 2nd in Accounting 1 – (advancing to state competition)

 

Hannah Ahrens & Drew Merriman placed 3rd in Marketing and 2nd in Sports & Entertainment Management – (advancing to state competition)

 

Heidi Schmelze placed 3rd in Accounting 1 and 2nd in Introduction to Marketing Concepts – (advancing to state competition in both events)

 

Kolten Capps AND Logan Moore placed 4th in Digital Video Production and 1st in Entrepreneurship – (advancing to state competition)

 

Karlie Basler placed 5th in Accounting 1 – (advancing to state competition)
