Boys’ Basketball

 

PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent topped Herculaneum 69-39. It was Herculaneum 18-16 after one, St. Vincent up 29-25 at the half, 47-33 after three and St. Vincent outscored Herculaneum 22-6 in the fourth quarter for the final margin.

 

Jacob Schremp had 13 points to lead the Indians, Max Wheeler had 11, Grant Abernathy and Payton Strattmann each had nine, Blake Monier and Simon Unterreiner each had eight, Dylan DeWilde had seven, Parker Ellis had three, and Eli Clements had one.

 

With the win the Indians improve to 12-10 on the season  and 3-1 in the conference.

 

The JV Indians topped Herculaneum 56-18.

 

Max Wheeler led the JV scoring with 18. Jacob Seabaugh had 10, Eli Abernathy had eight, Parker Ellis had seven, Boston Tarillion had five, Max Brewer and Tyler Hennemann each had three, Wyatt Winkler had two. The JV is 16-4 on the season. 

 

The freshmen, junior varsity and varsity Indians will play Grandview Friday beginning at 5 p.m with the freshmen.

 

PERRYVILLE – Perryville plays freshmen, junior varsity and varsity games at Saxony Lutheran tonight beginning at 5 p.m.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle has the fourth seed in the MAAA Conference Tournament and will play Friday night at 7 at Mineral Area College in a semifinal round game.

 

STE GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve defeated Kingston 69-56 to advance to the semifinals Friday.

 

CHESTER – Chester hosts Sparta Friday at 7:30 p.m.

 

Girls’ Basketball

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve fell to Farmington 60-23 in the quarterfinal round of the MAAA Conference Tournament. They will play Friday in the fifth place bracket.

 

PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent hosts Oak Ridge tonight at 7:15.

 

CHESTER — Chester hosts Lebanon tonight at 6 p.m.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle Catholic plays at St. Vincent Thursday at 6 p.m.

 

JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran plays at Kennett Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

 

PERRYVILLE – Perryville hosts Fredericktown for junior varsity and varsity game beginning at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
