HILLSBORO – The Jefferson College Faculty Senate is seeking nominations for the College’s 2023 Alumnus of the Year.
Nominees must meet four criteria:
A person who graduated from Jefferson College with a certificate or associate degree;
Someone who has achieved distinction in his/her chosen field of employment;
Someone who has been involved in community service; and
A person not presently a trustee or an employee of Jefferson College.
A submission form is available on the Jefferson College website at jeffco.edu by clicking on About>College History>Alumnus of the Year links. The deadline for nominations is February 24.
Nominees will receive a questionnaire so they can provide information about how they meet the criteria. A faculty committee will review the answers and make a final selection.
The Faculty Senate established the award in 1995. The honoree will receive the award and recognition during the annual Jefferson College Honors and Recognition Banquet.

Revelle, Regina Herrington, Rick Francis, William Overstreet, Lena Hutson, Andrew Held, Bill Haggard, Jane Houser, Edward Moreno, Brandon Moonier, Nancy Nelson, Elaine Gannon, Jennifer Collins Hansen, and Kim Robertson.
