Fred H. Buch, 77, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 7:08 pm, Friday, February 3, 2023 at Evelyn’s House, Creve Coeur, Missouri.
He was born to the late Frederick F. and Leona M. (nee Guebert) Buch on May 6, 1945 in Red Bud, Illinois.
He had worked for Spartan Printing in Sparta for 30 years and Secon in Red Bud for 15 years.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Illinois. Fred enjoyed watching sports, especially going to his grandchildren’s games. He played slow and fast pitch softball and enjoyed playing golf a couple days of week.
He was an Army Veteran.
Survivors: three daughters: Jenny (Ron) Schweizer Red Bud, IL, Becky (Shane) Alberson Chester, IL
and Jackie (Nick) Quintin Red Bud, IL; 14 grandchildren: Jordan Buch (Monica), Sydney Schweizer (Corey), Mackenzie Schweizer, Abbi Rensing, Landon Rensing (Bethany), Dalton Rensing, Gavin Rensing, Payton Rensing, Colby Alberson, Brooklyn Alberson, Tori Albert (Fiance – Rob),
Bailey Montroy, Luke Quintin and Liam Quintin; seven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by: parents, two sisters: Irene (Steve) Lin and Elaine (Glennon) Goetting.
Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Pechacek Funeral Homes, Red Bud, Illinois; and 10-11 a.m. Friday at the St. John Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Illinois.
