A funeral will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 for 39-year-old Bart Ladd of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., who passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at his home in Ste. Genevieve.
He was born March 17, 1983 in Jonesboro, Ark.
He is survived by his parents: Alan and Mary Ellen (Prosser) Ladd
Parents, Alan & Mary Ellen (Prosser) Ladd of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; brother: Greg (Erin) Ladd of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; his grandmother: Patricia Prosser of Sainte Genevieve, MO; niece: Gracie Mae Ladd; nephews: Peyton and Colin Ladd; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Patrick Prosser; grandparents: Elmo and Dortha Mae Ladd.
Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

“Our cherished son, Bart has lost his battle with this life. Bart was a kind and gentle soul. He was a loving son, a caring grandson, a devoted brother and a true friend. He was funny, witty, and could mimic any character to a – T. He loved basketball, his St. Louis Cards, and the great outdoors. He found respite in riding his bike to the river and spending time in quiet communion with his Higher Power. Bart was a true ‘INK’ enthusiast using his carefully crafted tattoos as a road map to his heart and his struggles. He has lost his battle, but never gave up the fight. Fly high my Beautiful Boy. May God bring you peace until we meet again.”
