JEFFERSON CITY — A 28-year-old Park Hills man suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash on Route DD in Ste. Genevieve County Monday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Corey T. Schibbelhut was taken to Mercy Hospital South by a Ste. Genevieve County ambulance.
The patrol says the crash happened when the 2012 Mazda 5 Schibbelhut was driving ran off the south side of the icy roadway and struck a utility pole.
The crash happened about 10:30 a.m. west of Kinsey Lane.
The patrol says Schibbelhut was unrestrained.
The Mazda received extensive damage.
