Bloomsdale Powerball player wins $150,000 prize with Power Play

JEFFERSON CITY – A Powerball player in Bloomsdale turned a $50,000 prize into $150,000 by choosing the Power Play option on his ticket for the Jan. 4 drawing. The ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers, plus the Powerball number drawn, to win a base prize of $50,000. The prize was automatically tripled to $150,000 when the Power Play number drawn was 3.

The winning numbers drawn in the Jan. 4 drawing are: 12, 32, 56, 67 and 68, with a Powerball of 26.

The winning ticket was purchased at Convenience Barn, 290 Mill Hill Road, in Bloomsdale.

Tonight’s Powerball jackpot is estimated at $526 million. If the Powerball jackpot is hit, the “Jackpot Reset” promotion will be activated – giving players who buy three Powerball plays on a single ticket a free $2 Powerball ticket.

Players who purchased tickets in Ste. Genevieve County in FY22 won more than $2.6 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes.

Retailers in the county received more than $256,000 in commissions and bonuses in FY22, and education programs received more than $310,000 in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
