Denise Pingel, 60, of Leadington, passed away January 20, 2023. She was born October 8, 1962, in Farmington, to the late Frankie Eugene and Joyce Lee (Thomure) Johnson. Denise loved horses, enjoyed a good laugh and especially loved spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dennis Johnson; and nephew, Phillip E. Shepherd.
Denise is survived by her daughter, Angela Harris; two grandchildren, Justin Rauhuff, Xaine B. Cassel; sister, Donna (Phillip) Shepherd; niece, Amy (Jeremy) Manning; nephews, Shane (Natasha) Shepherd and Ethan D. Burr.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve at 1 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Park Hills.
