Elks Hoop Shoot
STE. GENEVIEVE — Waylon Basler took first place in the 8-9 year-old division of the East Central National Elks Hoop Shoot Competition.
He will now advance to the state competition in Eureka Saturday, Feb. 4.
Waylon is the son of Jason and Michelle Basler of Ste. Genevieve.

STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Middle School seventh graders had a big upset win early in the week and finished fourth in the conference tournament after a buzzer beater by Park Hills (first of many battles)
STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Middle School eight grade boys lost to Caledonia to end their season.
The eighth grade girls ended their season with a 26-16 loss to North County

PERRYVILLE – Perryville plays at Sikeston tonight at 6 p.m.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve hosts Park Hills Central tonight at 7 p.m.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran plays at Festus tonight at 7:30 p.m.
CHESTER – Chester hosts Benton tonight at 7:30.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent plays at Perryville Saturday
High School Boys Basketball
STE GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve lost to Park Hills Central 67-46 Friday.
The 13-4 Dragons play at St. Vincent tomorrow night at 7:30.
The junior varsity Dragons lost to Windsor 39-33.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville plays at Festus tonight at 7 p.m.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle plays at Jefferson Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
CHESTER – Chester is back in action Friday when they host Okawville at 7:30 p.m.
