CHESTER – Don Berry of the First Baptist Church in Chester was the guest speaker at the First United Methodist Church in Chester Sunday January 15, 2023.
Berry, a deacon at FBC since 1999 when he was ordained by Rev. Brian Law gave the sermon titled, “Questions about Heaven.”
During his sermon Berry addressed several common questions about Heaven with answers derived from scripture.
Berry was a member of Rev. Floyd Gent’s Cradle Role as an infant at FBC in Chester and was baptized at the age of 11 at FBC in Chester.
He is the son of the late Garrett and Jewell Berry of Chester. Berry’s wife Jayne Howie and nephew Matt Howie accompanied him to the service at FUMC, Chester. Jim Beers Photo
