Ann Elizabeth Rehm 76 years old of St. Louis Missouri formerly of Ste Genenieve Missouri passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 15, 2023.
Ann was born in St. Louis on June 15, 1946 to Dr. & Mrs. Walter L. Rehm of Ste. Genevieve. She attended St. Elizabeth’s Academy in St. Louis, then Valle High School in Ste. Genevieve where she graduated in 1964.
After high school, she briefly attended South East Missouri State University and later attended Meramec Community College, St. Louis University, and University of Missouri – St. Louis where she obtained her associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees in nursing.
Throughout her 40 year nursing career in Missouri and Georgia, she served several different roles including surgical tech, operating room nurse, and educational coordinator. Before retiring, she took on a new role as the director of a surgical tech program.
Ann had several hobbies that included stained glass, sewing, and crocheting along with many other arts and crafts.
She was a die hard St. Louis Cardinals fan who enjoyed watching them on tv as well as attending games from time to time.
Ann is proceeded in death by two sons, Steven Andrew Bahr and Daniel Joseph Bahr; father, Dr. Walter L. Rehm Sr.; mother, Francis Lanell (Sucher) Rehm; brother, Walter “Walkie” Rehm Jr.
She is survived by two sons Richard Gregory Bahr Jr. of Conyers, GA, Christopher Bahr of St. Louis, MO; granddaughter Megan Marie Duncan; grandson Jonathan Brose; grandson Ryan T. Bahr; nephew Charles Rehm of Woodstock GA.
Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve, MO on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 10:00am until 1:15pm. Service will be at Church of Ste. Genevieve on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 1:30pm. The Clergy will be Rev. Edward Nemeth. Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve, MO.
