William John O’Brien was born April 12, 1924.
He was the son of Arthur James and Susan Ellen(nee McNamee) O’Brien.
He died on January 11, 2023 at Hillcrest Care Center, De Soto, MO at the age of 98 years.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Michelle (Karl Jr.) Walker, De Soto, MO; John (Karen) Hayes, Ste. Genevieve, MO; great-grandchildren, Dustin (Shannon) Walker, Derek (Becca Allen) Walker, and Megan Walker; Hunter Hayes, Kylie Hayes, Erica Fink, and Emily Fink; great great-grandchildren, Ava, Mae, and a baby boy on the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie (nee Heiland) O’Brien; two children, Terry Hayes and Gary O’Brien; siblings, Loretta Hardt, Bernice Markham, Ed O’Brien, Arthur O’Brien, Margaret Keuss, and Bernard O’Brien.
William was the owner of the Standard Oil Agency, De Soto, MO.
