High School Boys Basketball
CHESTER – Chester Invitational Tournament had two more games last night: Valle defeated Perryville 74-64 in a consolation semifinal and Chester beat New Athens in a championship semifinal.
The tournament takes a break today and then has four games Saturday: Valmeyer and Perryville for seventh place at 2:30, Valle and Lovejoy in a consolation final at 4, Saxony Lutheran and New Athens for third place at 5:30 and the championship game with Chester and Gibault at 7 p.m.
STE, GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve plays at North County tonight.
PERRYVILLE – The St. Vincent varsity and junior varsity teams will play tonight at Oran.

CHESTER – Chester lost at Carlyle 56-27 to fall to 10-11 on the season.

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve participates in the St. Charles Tournament today and tomorrow.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle beat Potosi 48-21 and ______-_____ New Madrid County Central at home tonight.
The Valle Catholic Wrestling team traveled to Park Hills Wednesday to compete in a tri-dual against Central High School and Lift for Life High School of St. Louis.
The wrestlers concluded the evening with one win and one loss.
