A graveside service will be held Monday, Jan. 23, 2023 for 87-year-old Robert Eugene “Gene” Dollar, of Ste. Genevieve who passed away Jan. 4, 2023, at Ste. Genevieve Care Center.
He was born April 25, 1935, in Festus, the son of the late Celeste (Vinyard) and Robert “Buck” Dollar.
He is survived by two daughters: Donna (Joe Uding) Smith of Ste. Genevieve and Vikkie Brown of Indiana; a sister: Glenda Dollar of Festus; a brother: Jerry Dollar of Festus; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter: Sandy Day Dollar; and two brothers: Jack (the late Marlene) Dollar and Norville (the late Brenda) Dollar.
He was a retired industrial broker.
He enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
A graveside service for 87-year-old Robert Eugene “Gene” Dollar of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
