High School Boys Basketball
PERRYVILLE – Perryville lost to Chester 63-33 last night in the Chester Invitational Tournament.
Valle Catholic of Ste. Genevieve fell to New Athens 65-55 in the other CIT game last night.
Two more games tonight: Lovejoy vs Valmeyer at 6 p.m. in a consolation semifinal and Saxony Lutheran vs Gibault at 7:30 in a championship semifinal.
There will be two more games Thursday night: consolation semifinal with Valle vs Perryville at 6 p.m. and a championship semifinal with New Athens playing Chester at 7:30.
The tournament takes a break Friday and then has four games Saturday: seventh place at 2:30, consolation final at 4, third place at 5:30 and the championship game at 7 p.m.
STE, GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve took on Arcadia Valley last night.
The varsity won 77-49.
The junior varsity won 43-14.
The freshmen lost 40-37.
The Ste. Genevieve plays at North County Friday night.
PERRYVILLE – The St. Vincent varsity and junior varsity teams will play Friday night at Oran.

CHESTER – Chester plays at Carlyle Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
PERRYVILLE – The St. Vincent Lady Indians host Grandview Thursday at 5:30.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve plays North County at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
PERRYVILLE – The Perryville Lady Pirates play at Woodland Monday night.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran plays Fredericktown Monday at 6.
In Middle School Basketball
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve Middle School teams took on Fredericktown.
The seventh grade girls lost 29-26.
The seventh grade boys lost as well.
The eighth grade boys lost also.
The teams will start play in the conference tournament Saturday.
In High School Wrestling
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle lost to Park Hills 43-36 and defeated Lift for Life Academy Charter School 57-6 last night.
Valle has a tri-match at home Thursday night.
