Myra L. Gremaud

Myra L. Gremaud, 90, of Perryville, Missouri fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Catholic Church, entered into eternal life on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Arbors at Parkwood Meadows.

She was born January 26, 1932 in Perryville, MO to Stanislaus “Stonie” and Beulah (Chappius) Wibbenmeyer.

 

Myra and Donald Joseph Gremaud were married February 9, 1952 at the Assumption Church in Perryville.

 

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

 

She did bookeeping for Gremaud Farms.

 

Myra served on the St. Vincent de Paul School Board. She enjoyed genealogy research, puzzles, playing cards, going for rides and having fun. Her greatest love was spending time with family and friends.

 

Survivors include eleven children, Mike Gremaud of Perryville, Mary (Roger) Rosenquist of St. Mary, MO, Joe (Judy) Gremaud of Perryville, MO, Mark (Patti) Gremaud of Perryville, MO, Neal (Mary) Gremaud of Perryville, MO, Kristy (Donny) Buchheit of Perryville, Tina (Steve) Kramer of Oakridge, MO, Ted (Glenda) Gremaud of Perryville, MO, Scott Gremaud of Perryville, Amy (Roger) Naeger of Perryville, MO, Brent Gremaud of St. Mary, MO; one brother Don Wibbenmeyer of Perryville, MO; five sisters, Barbara Ernst of St. Louis, MO, Carol Wibbenmeyer of Ste. Genevieve, MO, Mary Ochs of St. Louis, MO, Alice Wichern of O’Fallon, MO, Debbie Hoffman of St. Charles, MO; forty four grandchildren and thirty two great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and her brother: Alan Wibbenmeyer.

 

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023 and from 8:00 am to 9:30 am on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home.

 

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Saturday, January 14, 2023 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Joe Geders C.M., Fr. Ben Melaku C.M., and Deacon Direk Hunt concelebrating.

 

Entombment will be at the Mary Queen of Heaven Mausoleum at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School or St. Vincent de Paul Educational Foundation.
