High School Boys Basketball
PERRYVILLE – Perryville plays freshmen, junior varsity and varsity games beginning at 4:30 today at De Soto.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste Genevieve plays at Fredericktown tonight.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent plays at Crystal City today at 5:30.
CHESTER – Chester plays at Wesclin at 7:30 tonight.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran play in the Chester Invitational Tournament which begins on Monday.
High School Girls Basketball
CHESTER – Two more games in the Chester Lady Jacket Midwinter Tournament last night New Athens beat Steelville 41-27 in a consolation semifinal game at 6 p.m. and Chester beat Dupo 54-28 in a championship semifinal game at 7:30.
The tournament wraps up on Saturday with three games after taking today off.
The updated schedule for Saturday is:
4 p.m.-consolation championship: New Athens vs Valmeyer
5:15 p.m.-3rd place game: Dupo vs Sparta
6:30 p.m.-championship: Chester vs Marissa
PERRYVILLE – Perryville beat De Soto 49-16.
The varsity and junior varsity Pirates travel to Herculaneum for a 5:30 game Monday.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran beat Kelly 61-31.
The Crusaders play at Park Hills Central Monday at 7:30.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle plays at St. Vincent Monday.
STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve high school varsity girls are off until January 12th when they play North County at 7:30 p.m.
In Middle School Basketball
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve Middle School’s seventh and eighth grade girls split their games with North County last night. The seventh graders won 33-15 to improve to 5-6 on the season. The eighth graders lost 13-9 in two quarters.
High School Wrestling
STE. GENEVIEVE – The results of Wednesday’s Valle tri-match with Hancock and Herculaneum were released Thursday afternoon.

PERRYVILLE – The registration deadline for 5th/6th and 7th/8th Grade Basketball has been extended to January 9th. The fee is $55/members and $60/nonmembers.
