Charles Thomas Wood, 82, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at his residence.
He was born December 8, 1940 in Perryville, MO to Dennis “Dixie” and Margaret (Moranville) Wood.
He served in the United States Army as a Medic.
He graduated form St. Vincent DePaul Catholic High School in Perryville.
Tom worked for his father who owned the Sealtest Milk and Ice Cream Distributorship in Perryville, He later worked at the Perryville IGA in the dairy department.
Survivors include a sister: Helena Wood of Atlanta, GA; special cousin: Sandy (Wood) Vinson of Perryville, MO; longtime special friend: Henry “Hank” Weiss of Perryville, MO; and a few other cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Tom chose to donate his body for medical study at Logan University, Chesterfield, MO.
There will be no services at this time.
Burial will be at a later date at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis MO.
