PERRYVILLE — Friends, family and colleagues gathered Friday afternoon at the Perry County Courthouse for the swearing in of elected officials.
New to office are Perry County Treasurer Katie Schemel, and Perry County Collector-elect Dena Preston who will assume the collector role in March of 2023.
Also sworn in were incumbents, Circuit Court Judge Craig Brewer, Circuit Court Clerk Jennifer Hotop, Clerk Jared Kutz, Presiding Commissioner Mike Sauer and Prosecutor Caitlin Pistorio.
Recorder of Deeds Dana Pritchard was unable to attend Friday, and will be sworn in at a later time.
