Irma Ann Esselman, 95, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Independence Care Center.
She was born April 20, 1927 at her home near Claryville, MO to Alois N. and Ida L. (Martens) Esselman.
Irma was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and a graduate of St. Vincent de Paul High School.
Irma was a retired beautician.
While caring for her parents for many years, she and her mother made many embroidered quilts for the St.Vincent Seminary and Immaculate Conception Church Kaskaskia Island Picnics.
Survivors include sister, Jeanette Sutterer of Perryville, Mo. and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and three brothers-in-law: Loretta (Amos) Klump and Lenita (Frank) Renner and James “Jim” Sutterer.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Rev. Mark Pranaitis C.M. Officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Church or Schools, Ladies of Charity, or Birthright.
