JEFFERSON CITY — A 28-year-old Chester, Illinois woman suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash Thursday afternoon on I-55 in Ste. Genevieve County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Tatiana Figueroa was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by a Ste. Genevieve County ambulance.
The patrol says Figueroa was a passenger in a northbound 1998 Ford Ranger which ran off the right side of the icy roadway and overturned. The driver of the pick up, 28-year-old Ray W. Nathan of Cape Girardeau was unhurt.
The patrol says the driver was buckled up, but the passenger was not.
The crash happened about 2:16 p.m. at the 157 mile marker, which is near the Route Y exit.
