at home in Bloomsdale, MO surrounded by her loving family and devoted husband of almost 50 years.
She was born July 31, 1954 in Perryville, MO

Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm as well as Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 8:00 am until 9:30 am
Service will be at St. Agnes Church on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 10:00 am. The Clergy will be Rev. Mitchell Baer and Deacon Jim Basler
Burial will be at St. Agnes Cemetery in Bloomsdale, MO

Barb, or Barbie, as so many lovingly called her, was a beautiful soul. She was a caring wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sibling, in law, teacher, aunt and great aunt. Barbie never met a stranger and treated everyone like family.
She had a quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, beautiful smile and an infectious laugh that will be remembered by all who had the honor of meeting her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking trips to Lake of the Ozarks, game nights, and attending all of her children and grandchildren’s school and sporting events.
She spent endless hours pouring into her family and community. She had a giving heart and was always quick to help others in need. She dedicated most of her life to her true passion, loving and caring for children. Miss Barbie, as all the kids called her, owned and operated an in home daycare and then began the pre-kindergarten program at St. Agnes school. Her deep love for children and others shined through in all she said and did. She was always a bright light to all that were around her. Barbie will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church where she served as a Parish Council Member and PTO President of St. Agnes School. Barb also served as president of St. Agnes Alumni Association for many years. Ste. Genevieve Hospital Auxiliary Partners. She was a past member of Daughters of Isabella and Ste. Genevieve Optimist Club.
