JEFFERSON CITY – Upon Governor Parson’s $20 million investment to expand Missouri’s workforce, NFIB State Director Brad Jones issued the following statement praising the move. Ahead of the General Assembly session in January, Jones urged lawmakers to keep the interests and challenges of small business owners in mind.
“In addition to rising prices and supply chain disruptions, Missouri business owners are facing a crushing labor shortage,” Jones said. “In January, the General Assembly will have the opportunity to build upon this needed investment in our workforce and act in the best interest of Missouri’s job creators.”
In October, Jones praised the latest tax cuts on small businesses, noting that when the legislature helps small businesses, “it helps all of Missouri.”
