SGHS Gaming Club hosts ‘Smashgiving’

STE. GENEVIEVE — This year, the Ste. Genevieve High School Gaming Club held its second annual “Smashgiving” event, a fundraising effort where student gamers competed in a Super Smash Bros tournament. There were 13 attendees this year.

 

The winners of the tournament are listed below:

1st Place: Char Drost

2nd Place: Orlando Jordan

3rd Place: Justin Harris

4th Place: Drew Merriman

Door Prize: Mason Ruch

 

“We would like to share a special thanks to the library staff for accommodating our event and helping to everything up,” SGHS Gaming Club sponsor and high school teacher Ian Diamond said. “And we want to share a warm thank you to Iggy Zielinski of Iggy’s Pop Shop for his generous prize donation.”
