STE. GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital has returned to its policy requiring visitors and patients to wear masks.
According to a statement the hospital made in social media, “Over the last couple weeks we have seen an increase in respiratory illness (Influenza, RSV, & COVID.) This increase in illness has affected the volume of patients seeking care in our clinics, ER, and inpatient unit.
“To best protect yourself, other patients, and employees, we ask everyone entering SGCMH patient care areas to wear a mask. Masks are available at all reception areas.
“We greatly appreciate your patience and compliance as we navigate this season together. We will continue to update the community as we update our guidelines.”
