VHS Wrestling takes 1st place John Burroughs Tournament

STE. GENEVIEVE — The Valle Catholic Warrior Wrestling team takes first place for the second year in a row at the John Burroughs Tournament Saturday.

The St. Louis school hosted 11 participating teams from the St. Louis region for the two day tournament.

 

The Warriors scored 298 points and surpassed second place finisher Ladue High School by only four points!!

 

Valle Catholic Wrestling also scored four first place individual finishes this year.

The first home wrestling dual of the season is this Tuesday at 6 p.m. against Windsor High School in the Valle Catholic gym.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle Catholic wrestlers brought home two more wins Thursday.

 

They traveled to Ritenour High School in St. Louis for a tri-meet including Brentwood High School.
