A funeral will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 for 81-year-old Bill Miles of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
He was born June 23, 1941 in Cairo, Ill.
He married Janet (Winston) Miles on May 26, 1962. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.
He is also survived by son: Steve (Linda) Miles of Pevely, Mo.; a daughter: Kelly (Mike) Fallert of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; three brothers: Ron (Sue) Coleman of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Jay (Sheri) Coleman of Urbandale, Iowa, and Tom Miles; two sisters: Becky Smith of Pennington, N.J., and Tami Coleman of St. Charles, Mo.; grandchildren: Kassie (Aaron) Wolk, Jessica Carron, Josh Miles, Nick Miles, Ashley (Derek) Fallert, and Paige Fallert; and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father: Alvin Lee Miles; step-father: Malcolm Coleman; and mother, Gertrude T. (Fallert) Coleman.
He was a member of American Legion Post No. 150, Knights of Columbus Council No. 1037.
He was past president of the Bank of Ste. Genevieve.
Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family.
Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Friday, December 30 at Church of Ste. Genevieve in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 81-year-old Bill Miles of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at Church of Ste. Genevieve at 11 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2022.
Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, Mo. with military service performed by VFW Post 2210.
