PERRYVILLE — St. Vincent defeated Saxony Lutheran 49-36 last night in the Crystal City Tournament.
The Indians led 13-8 after the first quarter, 29-19 at the half and 41-30 after three. St. Vincent outscored the Crusaders 8-6 in the fourth quarter for the final margin.
Grant Abernathy led the Indian scoring with 17 points, Blake Monier had 11, Dylan DeWilde had seven, Simon Unterreiner had six, Payton Strattman had five, Dane Kline had two and Jacob Schremp had one.
St. Vincent advances to play Herculaneum for the Crystal City Tournament championship Friday at 8:30 p.m. Herculaneum topped Jefferson 54-44 last night.
