Final 2022 Ste. Genevieve Art Walk set for November 25

STE. GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve’s final 4th Friday Art Walk of 2022 will be held November 25 and it’ll be a great way to kick back after Thanksgiving festivities and kick off the rest of the holiday season.

“Art makes a terrific gift,” a Walk organizer says. “And you’ll find lots of wonderful, unique items in the galleries and artspaces, with prices that are appropriate for giving to friends, families and coworkers. Besides, the Walk is always a fun way to spend an evening.”

The event is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. in Ste. Genevieve’s historic downtown area.

Some of the participating artspaces include the Sainte Genevieve Art Center which has mounted an impressive exhibit and sale of Christmas holiday art created by members of the Sainte Genevieve Art Guild. Silver Sycamore Gallery of Fine Art will feature fine original art. ASL Pewter has unveiled its special 2022 Christmas ornaments which will be on display. QRSTea also will be open.

In the North Main Street Art and Entertainment District Music Art Love will feature music by Paul Hogenmiller and a new display of art in M-A-L’s new location.

The art of Teresa Cavins will be on display at Oliver’s.

E•KleK•Tix Gallery & Studio is featuring its annual “Biggest LITTLE Art Show in Town” with nearly 100 small paintings priced for gift-giving.

Only Child Originals and Rust have a range of gifts appropriate for the holidays.

Other art spaces also may be open. Most Art Walk activities are free and open to everyone. The Art Walks will resume in March 2023.
