SPARTA — The Sparta Police Department has released its latest report of arrests.
According to the department’s news release: “an officer with the Sparta Police Department conducted a traffic stop at Hillcrest and Broadway.
“During the course of the stop, 44 year old Michael P. Zaccheus of Ellis Grove,IL and 47 year old Veronica S. Warnock of Red Bud,IL was arrested.
Zaccheus was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine over 15 grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Armed Violence, and Improper Lighting-One Head Light.
Warnock was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine over 15 grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine and Armed Violence.
The police department also reported an arrest on Monday.
On 11/14/22 at approximately 11:49 AM, an Officer with the Sparta Police Department arrested 20 year old Jace R. Brown of Coulterville, IL for: -Retail theft
