A funeral will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 for 90-year-old Patsie Rose Jokerst of Perryville, Mo. passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Independence Care Center.
She was born May 15, 1932 in Perryville, Mo. a daughter of Wallace E Wood and Anna Marie (Moore) Wood, who both preceded her in death.
Patsie married Oswin “Osie” W Jokerst June 6, 1953 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church, Brewer Mo. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters: Carolyn Brandon of Perryville, and Kris (Jerry) Niccum of Perryville, Cheryl (Kevin) Winschel of Perryville; two sons: Kevin (Rita) Jokerst of Perryville, and Nicholas (Vicki) Jokerst of Perryville; a sister: Carol Mattingly of Perryville; 12 grandchildren: Rhonda Staffeldt, Rick Renaud, Jason Jokerst, Craig Jokerst, Kurt Jokerst, Kara Bohnert, Andy Niccum, Jacob Niccum, Kaylie Austin, Kelsey Beier, Ethan Jokerst, Taylor Jokerst, Christopher Robison, Lauren Baughman and many great and great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son: Ronald Jokerst; a grandson: Bob Renaud; three brothers and two sisters.
She was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church.
Her working career included Klaus Jewelers, Association of the Miraculous Medal, Independent Court, and Johnson & Niswonger Financial Resources.
Patsie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, scrap booking, serving the Lord her God, and her family and friends.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, Mo. and 8-10 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2022.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Friday, November 18, 2022 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer with Fr. Joe Geders, C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Christ the Savior Catholic Cemetery in Brewer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ the Savior Church in Brewer, Mo. or the Missouri Veteran’s Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
