A funeral will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 for 91-year-old Timothy Felix Palmer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., who passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
He was born February 19, 1931 in Sainte Genevieve, Mo., a son of Felix Raymond Palmer and Elvina Johanna (Greminger) Palmer, who both preceded him in death.
He married Estella (Geisler) Palmer May 10, 1952. She preceded him in death.
He is also survived by five sons: David (Judy) Palmer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Jim (Linda) Palmer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Bill (Kathy) Palmer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Tony (Jessica) Palmer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and Jerry Palmer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a daughter: Mary (Mike) Lurk of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; three sisters: Angela Kuehn of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Elvira Ziegelmeyer of Arnold, Mo., and Catherine (Earl) Basler of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a sister-in-law: Leatrice Palmer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter: Kris Ann Palmer; a son: Daniel Palmer; two brothers: Jonas W. Palmer and Royce Palmer; three sisters: Mary Lou Donze, Elvina Filer, and Joan Palmer.
He was a member of American Legion Post 150, Knights of Columbus Post 1037. Tim loved fishing, traveling, watching Cardinal baseball and playing cards. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022 at St. Joseph Church in Zell, Mo.
A funeral for 91-year-old Timothy Felix Palmer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022 at St. Joseph Church. The Rev. Henry Purcell will officiate.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Zell, Mo.
Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 2210.
Memorials may be made to Advocates for St. Joseph in Zell or The Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
