PERRYVILLE — The Perryville Higher Education Center will host a special Civil War exhibit Saturday.
The exhibit is being presented by the J. Felix St. James Camp No. 326 of the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War.
The exhibit will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the second floor of the Perryville Higher Education Center at 108 S. Progress Drive in Perryville. .
It will include:
Rifles and sidearms from both the Union and Confederate armies,
A bullet and load display.
Union field uniforms and personnel equipment,
Battle maps and charts of Southeast Missouri,
Issued food items and personal eating equipment,
Personnel back pack items.
Area Civil War information and genealogy.
The exhibit is sponsored by the Perry County Military History Museum.
