PERRYVILLE – Commemorate the saints and remember the faithful departed. All are invited to visit the historic Saint Mary’s of the Barrens Church in Perryville, Missouri, and take part in two very special occasions.
Saturday & Sunday, October 29-30
View a collection of 11 authenticated relics associated with the Passion of Christ and canonized saints of the Catholic Church, including John the Baptist, Vincent de Paul, and Thérèse of Lisieux. On Saturday, the display follows the 12:10 p.m. Mass until 4:00 p.m. Sunday’s display follows the 11:00 a.m. Mass until 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 2
Join Vincentian Father Jim Osendorf as he leads a Candlelight Vigil from the Shrine Church to the historic grotto to remember your deceased loved ones in prayer. The vigil begins at 6:00 p.m., CT.
You, your family, friends, and fellow parishioners are encouraged to attend these enriching opportunities for prayerful reflection.
