Clayton Drury named Valle Rotary Student of the Month

STE. GENEVIEVE – Clayton Scott Drury has been selected the Rotary Student of the Month at Valle Catholic High School.

Clayton Scott Drury is the son of Scott and Amy Drury of Bloomsdale.

His academic achievements include high honors throughout high school.  He was named Outstanding Algebra II student as a Sophomore and Best Essayist as a Junior.  Clayton has been a Scholar Athlete every year.

Clayton is an active member of the Valle Catholic student body. He has served on Student Government as a member of student council as well as junior class treasurer.  Clayton was inducted into the National Honor Society. He has also been a member of the Loud Crowd and a Student Ambassador for four years.

Clayton has played three sports during his high school career: football for two years, basketball and baseball for four. Clayton has also played baseball for the Ste. Gen RiverDogs and the American Legion during the summer.  He has earned a varsity letter in football two years, basketball two years and baseball three years. 

Clayton volunteers his time at grade school basketball camps, Operation Overhaul, Heavenly Hope, the Bloomsdale Volunteer Fire Department and The Baggin’ Cancer Cornhole Tournament. 

In addition to his school and extracurricular activities, Clayton is a groundskeeper at the Ste. Genevieve Golf Club and a server at The Artisan.

Clayton is considering attending the University of Missouri Columbia after graduation where he plans to study statistics or data analysis.
