Ste. Gen 4th Friday Art Walk set for October 28

STE. GENEVIEVE –  Celebrate Halloween early at Ste. Genevieve’s 4th Friday Art Walk October 28 from 6 to 9 p.m.

There’ll be plenty of frightfully good fun.

In the N. Main Street Art and Entertainment District Music Art Love will welcome people to it’s new, larger location at 137 N. Main, offering live music by Paul Hogenmiller and live painting by talented local artist Brenda Thompson…plus a preview of plans for the new space.

Across the street E•KleK•Tix Studio and Gallery celebrates Halloween with witchy, spooky stuff and a special display that pays tribute to Native American Heritage.

You can dine at Oliver’s and enjoy the art of Terri Cavins. Rust, Only Child Originals, Masquerade and Rooted Coffee will have original art and other good stuff.

On the Courthouse Square the Sainte Genevieve Art Center & Art Museum will feature member art from the September Plein Air Competition in addition to the current exhibit of paintings, fiber art, sculpture, pottery, gift items, cards and prints of local attractions.

There’ll be a new look at Silver Sycamore Gallery of Fine Art where the work of local and out-of-town artists will be on display. Around the corner ASL Pewter will be showing its fabulous collection of pewter giftware.

Other stops to check out during the Art Walk  include the art collection at Brix Winery on Merchant Street, and Quintessential Spice & Tea on Market, which will be showing work by Iris Vincent.

Additional downtown merchants also may be open during the event. Most Art Walk activities are free and open to everyone.
