Amy was the Manager of the Outpatient Specialty Clinic at Memorial until her sudden and tragic death as a result of an automobile accident back in May of 2022. She was highly thought of and respected at Memorial thus the staff at the hospital organized the Wall/Run in memory.
According to Brett Bollman, Memorial Hospital CEO, the afternoon event included the run/walk which took place at the Cohen Recreation Complex in Chester, a Memorial Tribute Ceremony, a video/slide show in remembrance of Amy, a time of personal sharing from employees, friends and family, food, and a time for meeting and visiting at the Eagles afterward.
Approximately 120 friends, family and hospital employees attended the event. The price of attendance included donations of food items to help support the Chester Area Christian Food Pantry, or monetary donations to help fund the Infusion Family Fund, which helps families that are dealing with various aspects of having to take infusions for cancer.
