The Basler Funeral Home has announced the passing of 64-year-old Sandra “Sandy” (Brooks) Sanders of Bloomsdale, Mo., who passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, Mo.
She was born September 20, 1958 in St. Louis, Mo.
She married Tracy Sanders on December 12, 1998.
She is survived by two daughters: Kelly (Scott) Hurston of Bloomsdale, Mo. and Amanda (Jason) Sutton of Bloomsdale, Mo.; father: Monroe Brooks of Lesterville, Mo.; brother: Steven (Kim) Brooks of Lesterville, Mo.; husband: Tracy Sanders of Bloomsdale, Mo.; grandchildren: Madison, Morgan, Livy, Shane; and furbabies: Izzy and Rambo
She was preceded in death by her mother: Marian Goodman; and brother: Richard Brooks;
Sandy was extremely kind and never met a stranger. She was very crafty and enjoyed making dolls. Sandy enjoyed bowling and was even in a league. She enjoyed traveling and seeing natures beauty, especially the Smokey Mountains. She was an avid reader, loved to watch movies and spend time with her family at family game night.
