Ste. Genevieve Elementary holds fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

STE. GENEVIEVE – Recently, Brandi Schwartz, a physical therapist at Ste. Genevieve Elementary, ran in a marathon to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

SGES students and teachers helped raise money for Mrs. Schwartz’s run with a Pajama Day event.

Altogether, the students, staff and faculty raised more than $438 in donations!

The money donated helps find a cure for childhood cancer.

These donations also ensure:

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for treatment, travel, housing or food, because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Treatments invented at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at this hospital means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
