Alice Marie Reid, 94, of Rockwood, Illinois, passed away at 1:28 am, Monday, October 3, 2022 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois.
She was born to the late Harry D. and Cora Eva (nee Frazer) Reid on November 11, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Alice had spent most of her career as a teacher working for Red Bud Public Elementary School.
She was a member of Rockwood Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers of Illinois, Royal Neighbors, V.F.W. Auxliary and the Chester Women’s Club. She enjoyed painting and drawing in her younger years and loved to read her Bible daily.
