JEFFERSON CITY — Four persons were hurt in a traffic crash Saturday afternoon in Perry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 47-year-old Dana Davis of St. Charles had serious injuries and was flown to SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital on an AirEvac helicopter; 22-year-old Danielle R. Davis had moderate injuries and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center by a Perry County ambulance; and 31-year-old Jonathan Brown of Winfield and 52-year-old Kenneth A. Harmon II of St. Charles each had minor injuries and refused medical treatment and left the scene of the crash.
None of the occupants was using safety devices.
The patrol says the crash happened when a 2015 Yamaha YXM 700 driven by Dana Davis was traveling north on Route K. About two miles south of Route B the Yamaha ran off the right side of the roadway. The driver over-corrected and the Yamaha overturned, ejecting the driver and Danielle Davis.
The crash happened about 5:40 p.m.
The Yamaha received extensive damage and was removed from the scene by private conveyance.
