Norma Jean Marie Niccum

Norma Jean Marie Niccum , 89, of Perryville, Missouri passed away  Monday, September 26, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

 

She was born August 29, 1933 in Menfro, MO to Edward and Lillie (Stockdall)  Weith.

 

She and John E. Niccum were married December 23, 1953 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. He preceeded her in death on December 16, 2003.

 

Norma Jean was a Care Aide and retired from Perry County Nursing Home. She formerly worked at Prince Gardner. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, word search puzzles, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and talking on the phone to her sister Shirley.

 

Survivors include five sons and one daughter, Don (Rita) Niccum of Roswell, NM, Ronald Niccum, Gerald (Kris) Niccum, Kathleen (Mike) Roth, Terry (Becky) Niccum, Jeff Niccum all of Perryville, MO; one sister, Shirley McGraw of Hamilton, IL; sister-in-law, Dixie Weith of Perryville, MO; Eighteen grandchildren, Jerry (Dee) Roth, Shane (JoAnne) Morelan, Anissia ( Friend Dave) Porter, Andrew (Julaine) Niccum, CaSondra (fiance Richard) Crannick, Melanie Grant, Shawn Niccum, Andrew (Alexandria) Hayden, Jessica (Chuckie) Ochs, Jacob (Tiffany) Niccum, Danielle Niccum, Shelby (Chaz) Favier, Amber (Nathan) Miller, Ashley (Steven) Unterreiner, Katie (Trevor) Green, Karolyn Moore, Jordan Niccum, J.T. Niccum;  twenty great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Donald  Weith; one infant brother; brother-in-law, Virgil “Frankie” McGraw; daughter-in-law, Denise Niccum.

 

Visitation will be 8:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

 

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Pastor Matthew Marks officiating.

 

Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran  Cemetery in Perryville.

 

Memorial contributions may be given to American Kidney Foundation.
