Public meetings scheduled Sept. 24 for six Missouri state parks and historic sites

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Team members from Missouri State Parks invite the public to attend informational meetings throughout the state to provide their input and comments and to ask questions about the park and its operations. The meeting locations and times are as follows:

  • Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site Open House, 1-2 p.m., 19349 Bothwell State Park Road in Sedalia, 660-827-0510.
  • Lake Wappapello State Park Town Hall, 10 a.m., 8005 State Highway 172 in Williamsville, 573-297-3232.
  • Dillard Mill State Historic Site Open House, 1-2 p.m., 142 Dillard Mill Road in Davisville, 573-244-3120.
  • Mastodon, Sandy Creek Covered Bridge and Gov. Daniel Dunklin’s Grave state historic sites Town Hall, 1 p.m., 1050 Charles J. Becker Drive in Imperial, 636-464-2976.

Park team members will be present to answer questions and provide information.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings are being held virtually or in person in all state parks and historic sites to help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings will inform the public on the current status and future plans for the park or historic site and offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
