Barbara Francis (Vessell) Hill, 83, of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri, entered into rest Monday, September 5, 2022 at Riverview at the Park in Ste Genevieve.
She was born September 28, 1938 in St Louis, MO, daughter of the late Edgar S Vessell and Frances (Cole) Vessell .
She was affectionately known as Aunt Barb by her family and friends; she was an auxiliary member of American Legion Post 253 Festus, she enjoyed volunteering at the shooting matches, working the children’s events and crocheting and the donating the item and asking what else she could do.
Survived by her loving family which includes a brother, Gary (Mona) Vessell of Midwest City, OK, sister, Sharon Douglas of Fenton, sister-in-law, Kathy Vessell and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Leroy Hill, father, Edgar S Vessell, mother, Frances (Cole) Vessell, brother, Randy Vessell, sister, Agnes Nausley.
Friends will be received at Mahn Twin City Chapel, Festus, Missouri Saturday, September 10, 2022, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
Services will be held at Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel, Festus, Missouri, September 10, 2022 at 4:00 pm with Paston Ryan Sutton officiating.
Interment will follow at a later at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St Louis, Missouri.
