JEFFERSON CITY — Two men from Kennett, Mo. were hurt in a traffic crash on Route O in Ste. Genevieve County Tuesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 31-year-old Jesse C. Mayberry and 27-year-old Thackery B. Moore received minor injuries and were taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by ambulance.
The patrol says the crash happened when a northbound 2004 Dodge Caravan driven by Mayberry failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.
The crash happened about 2:25 p.m. at Lakeview Drive.
Both occupants were buckled up.
