A funeral will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 for 75-year-old Janice Lukefahr Bohnert of Affton, Mo. passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born October 6, 1946 in Perryville, Mo. to Joseph Elward and Dorothy Jeanette (Weinkein) Lukefahr.
Janice and Donald J. Bohnert were married on February 7, 1970 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Highland, Mo.
Janice was a hairstylist at Touch of Italy Hair Salon in Crestwood, Mo.
She was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Affton, Mo, VIP Senior Club and Red Hats Society. Janice loved traveling with her family and watching St. Louis Cardinal Baseball.
Survivors include daughter, Linda Bohnert of Fenton, Mo; son, Timm (Meredith) Bohnert of The Woodlands, Tex.; four grandchildren, Abigail (Taylor) Scott, Rachel Groom, Reid Bohnert, Ella Bohnert; two great-grandchildren, Maverick Scott, Paislee Scott.
She was preceded in death by her parents and great-grandson, Weston Scott.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2022 and from 8-10:20 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rosary will be recited at 8:45 a.m.
A funeral Mass for 75-year-old Janice Lukefahr Bohnert will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Highland, Mo. with Fr. Mark Pranaitis officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, Mo..
Memorial contributions may be given to American Diabetes Association or St. Joseph Cemetery.
